Frequently asked questions.
Welcome to the Rule 62 S-Anon Partner’s group!
If you’re new here, this page is your starting point to help you get settled and find your way. We’re glad you’re here, well not glad but .. oh you know what we mean lol!
What’s first?
We recommend a few things to help you settle in and build a strong foundation:
Try to attend 90 meetings in 90 days ("90/90"). It’s a great way to stay connected and build a routine.
Consider volunteering for service roles like Greeter, Guard, or Timer Announcer (but skip being the Host for now).
Start reading SAnon literature to dive deeper into recovery (see suggestions below).
Begin looking for a sponsor to guide you along the way.
Tip: Mix it up by attending different types of meetings! Try a “Step Meeting,” a “Book Study,” and a “Beginners Meeting,” along with others that resonate with you.
What should I read?
Reading Suggestions
The SAnon Greenbook is like our “Instruction Manual.” It walks you through the 12 Steps and how to work them. You'll also find chapters that explain sexual addiction, our fellowship, recovery stories, healing journeys, and much more!
Facing Heartbreak is an excellent workbook that guides you through the 12 Steps while helping you process the emotions and feelings that come with the chaos of life with an addict. It's a valuable tool for making sense of it all.
Focus on the Basics First
If you’ve already read books or watched videos on recovery before joining us, we suggest setting those aside for now. This will give you a chance to really dive into and understand the 12-Step program. Once you’ve got a good grasp on the basics, feel free to explore and incorporate any other ideas that resonate with you!
